WE'RE BUYING OUR FIRST HOME!!
I've actually been sitting on this news for about a month and a half and god, it really stinks keeping secrets. However, I was trying to play it safe and make sure the deal went through and also, I wanted to create this:
As I said there, it's way for us to share the process with our family and friends as well as keep a portfolio of the changes we want to make and help educate others who may be in the same position. What can I say? I'm a freak like that.
We close on the 16th. That's this Friday!!!!! It's so close.
And now we've got to move again!! *sigh* I hate moving!
Being on vacation makes me a good housewife! Normally, I hate the act of housework and cooking but I do love the satisfaction of a clean house and a meal on the table. Most likely because then I can proceed to do other less productive things (like surf the Interwebs or play video games until my eyes bleed).
I just don't get to keep things as tidy and organized and clean when I have to work because after spending eight hours busting my ass (more mentally and emotionally which can be just as tiring as physically) the last thing I want to do is cook dinner, let alone think about it.
I'm glad I didn't do NaBloPoMo because I would have already failed. Still, I have to come out of hibernation at some point and I have so much news that I'm not quite sure how to squeeze it all in.
But I'm on vacation this week so I'm going to take the opportunity this week to hopefully do just that.
